⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Wonderful Brunch Experience with Stunning Views! This is absolutely IT! After Amy from Clay at Wildflower Farms, read my review she reached out to me and invited me back for a second visit. Amy went above and beyond to make the experience better, and I am so grateful. To recreate the moment for my Mother-in-Law's birthday, which was the reason of our previous visiting, Amy had a lovely dessert with a candle brought out for us, a kind and thoughtful gesture that truly made the occasion special. This level of dedication to a customer's happiness is rare and appreciated! So thank you! The Service & Staff: Our server was exceptional, attentive, energetic, and genuinely helpful (a huge improvement!). All our requests were handled promptly, and the staff created a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. The Food: Everything was Delicious! We were thoroughly impressed with the quality and presentation of the dishes: Appetizers/Bakery: Highly recommend starting with the fantastic Cinnamon Roll & Cream Cheese Icing and the savory, flaky Buttermilk Farm Herb Biscuit. Mains: Our party enjoyed the savory Clay Burger with cheddar and fries, the savory olive oil pancake and a surprisingly exceptionally simple omelet that complimented the pancakes. Personally, I loved the rich flavor of the Shakshuka (farm egg, spiced tomato, feta, sourdough), served piping hot in a skillet that took a long time to cool down, but I did not mind since i was enjoying my Mimosa and Mushroom Coffee (interesting flavor but try it at least one time.) Second times the charm! *** PREVIOUS REVIEW***This is not it. Made a reservation a month ago for my MIL's brunch and requested a nice seat with a view of the mountains. That did not happen since we were told that the outside area was a first come first serve or the other area which has a 30 min wait. We decided to sit inside, and order our meal. THE BAD: COFFEE was room tempeture and when asked for a new cup, the waitress offereda bewildered response, "butI poured it straight from the machine." We had to ask for a new cup rather than she providing it. MIMOSA was OJ and a splash of champagne TEA was for two people but was given one pot, one tea bag and for some reason the o so energetic waitress explained that all the tops for the pots wear gone, thus a plate was used. WATER DROPLETS fell on my shoulder from the ceiling. Waitress response, "o thats the air conditioner." No offer to move, no apology to the inconvenience. FOOD was a bit undesirable. The buttermilk chicken was boneless, so chicken tenders, that was too heavy with the grits. The eggs were just boring and a half of a sourdough bread. Felt like I was given a ration meal THE GOOD: My party enjoyed their burger The grounds are immaculate and the views are just breath taking. Basically, I thought this place would be amazing, but it's just like any other basic spot.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Clay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The space is warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent from start to finish. Our server, Erica, was fantastic – attentive without hovering, thoughtful with her suggestions, and genuinely invested in making the night feel special. We had wine with dinner, and she helped guide us to a great choice. She went out of her way to acknowledge our anniversary, and those little touches really elevated the whole evening. Highly recommend both the restaurant and the team here. In addition to dinner, we ate breakfast each morning out by the fire pit with our dog, and the service there was just as impressive. Connor, our server at breakfast, was equally incredible – warm, attentive, and welcoming – and really helped make our stay feel relaxed and special from the very start of each day. Oh, and the food was amazing.

I’ve been here a few times and, tonight was by far the greatest experience I’ve had thanks to Maddie (I’ve met her before and she was and continues to be WONDERFUL!), Karicia, Christian and Merrick!!! Thank you so much for the incredible evening and making the experience a memorable one. The food, as always, is fresh and by far the greatest. My friend, she had wine and was a VERY happy woman. Sharing some photos for a felt experience. Thank you so much, Clay— and all that continue to make this place feel like home.. :)

I ate at clay on Thanksgiving, and had the most incredible service. My waitress Marissa was incredible, she was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the property and had some amazing recommendations. She even brought me a little surprise for an early birthday.. by far the best service restaurant in upstate New York !

Absolutely amazing overall. The service is spectacular. Everyone is so warm and friendly. You are made to feel very special. The food was 10/10. We got the mushroom risotto and Asado steak (can’t remember the exact names) but oh my goodness they were sooooo good. Best we’ve ever had. For drink I got the Green Acre, a smokey jalapeño margarita, and it was delicious! The desserts were so good and beautifully decorated with a little chocolate sign that said congratulations. So cute! After dinner we sat by the fire out in the foyer and had another cocktail. It was a perfect anniversary dinner! Definitely coming back.

We will come again and Enjoy the spa but the restaurant had the best food and the sweetest and most hospitable service. I loved my cherry cider and churrasco steak. The apple crumble cake was really the icing on the cake. The spoiled treatment you need after hiking all day.

Impeccable experience. We were a party of three, plus a wheelchair-bound child, and everyone from the valet to our server made us feel welcome and comfortable with ease and grace. It was the second time for myself, the fourth for my sister, and the first for our friend, and I do see this becoming a tradition. Always stunning flavors, warm service, and an ambience that is a great example of relaxed luxury.
